About Lord Venkateswara
Sri Venkateswara, also known as Balaji, Srinivasa, and Govinda, is a form of the Hindu god Vishnu. He resides at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh — the most visited place of worship in the world, welcoming over 50 million devotees annually.
The Lord is known as “Kaliyuga Varada” — the bestower of boons in the Kali Yuga (the current age). Devotees believe that sincere prayers to Lord Venkateswara are always answered, and His grace removes obstacles and brings prosperity.
The sacred seven hills of Tirumala (Saptagiri) represent the seven hoods of Adisesha, the cosmic serpent. Climbing these hills is considered a spiritual journey, symbolizing the devotee's ascent towards divine grace.
